Ruby Snoozing

There I was feeding the cat kitty treats and brushing her with her little yellow brush, she was purring, munching and rubbing her head on the brush like it was catnip. The dog sees all this attention directed at someone other than herself and comes over gazing at the dog cookie jar longingly. I don't take the hint fast enough so she nudges me with her nose an makes an 'ahem' motion with her eyebrows.

Don't tell me dogs can't talk.
